Dear TC 37 delegates,
ICONTEC, as a member body of ISO, warmly welcomes you to the ISO/TC 37 Annual meeting that will be held in Bogotá (Colombia) during next August 10-14 of 2009.
We are indeed honored to be the hosts of this important meeting, where you will continue to develop standards and carry out work which helps to optimize communication processes in many knowledge sectors. The applied terminological work will help to improve communications among countries, by providing tools which allow a harmonized management of terminology, and consequently, greater clearness, transparency and effectiveness in negotiations.
As the host of the ISO/TC 37 Annual Meeting, we would like to encourage you to take some time off to explore the sights of Bogotá, a friendly and lovely city offering a rich and varied cultural life.
